Lesson Objectives

Submitted by Eva. Students will be able to observe and draw colors and shapes correctly in relation to the light source.


Introductory Activity

Introduce students to the Pointillism and artists who worked in this manner, such as George Seurat.


Lesson Process

Class 1; Sketch drawing ( we break subjects down into basic shapes) and fixation with acrylic paints /light water color
Class 2: Oil or acrylic – background painting (dots with brush – Pointillism involves the application of paint in carefully placed dots of pure, unmixed color
Class 3 & 4: Color the images of the still life
