Lesson Objectives

Introductory Activity
Introduce students to the Pointillism and artists who worked in this manner, such as George Seurat.
Lesson Process
Class 1; Sketch drawing ( we break subjects down into basic shapes) and fixation with acrylic paints /light water color
Class 2: Oil or acrylic – background painting (dots with brush – Pointillism involves the application of paint in carefully placed dots of pure, unmixed color
Class 3 & 4: Color the images of the still life
